It’s like 2-sided tape, it adheres to the natural nail below and the gel polish over the top, creating perfect harmony.  Tip-It can be used with ALL gel polish brands to prevent chipping and peeling. Apply a very thin coat of Tip-It to the tip of the free-edge and cure. Then, apply a base coat gel before applying gel polish. Tip-It is very thin but strong, strengthening the free-edge of the natural nail.
