Better pricing and tax free buying are two separate benefits. A large order earns better pricing whoever places it. Whether that same order is also tax free depends on what you do with the product afterwards.

Salons and spas
Better pricing is open to you on quantity, same as anyone. On tax, the products you resell to clients off your retail shelf are what a resale certificate covers.
Supplies you use during a service are treated differently under California law. Call and ask for a manager and we will walk through where that line sits for your business.
Beauty and nail schools
Kits you sell on to students and supplies consumed in training are treated differently from each other, and schools often have their own exemption route separate from resale.
We handle schools through a quote your purchasing office can raise a PO against. Details on the tax exempt and educational page.
Resellers and distributors
The straightforward case. You buy to resell, so a resale certificate covers your inventory and there is no line to draw.
Send it once as a blanket and it covers your future orders. We still confirm the permit is current.
Shipping and payment
Shipping built around your order
A case of files and a pallet of pedicure kits fall into different shipping categories, so we work the shipping out with you when we quote and you get the whole number up front, whatever the size.
- Small reorders go standard parcel
- Extra large or overweight items get their own shipping quote
- Pickup in Garden Grove is always free, 7 days, usually same day
- Gallons and display racks ship ground, never air, so hazmat and size set the price
- International ships Delivery Duty Unpaid, so your own country bills the duties

Larger orders are paid by check or wire, and we release them for pickup or shipment once the payment clears. Your sales rep will confirm what applies when we quote your order.

Send it before the order
Sales tax comes off once a valid certificate is on file, so getting it to us early means your first order is priced right from the start.
Use the form at the top of this page, which collects everything California asks for and lets you sign by typing your name. Or use the state form and attach it instead.

Welcome. Wholesale is open to businesses anywhere in the US. What we need depends on where your order goes.
We ship it to you. No California sales tax. If we collect tax in your state (list below), send a resale certificate your state accepts and we will apply it to your account. Most of these states accept the multistate certificate. Arkansas and Indiana accept the Streamlined Sales Tax certificate, and Louisiana and Virginia use their own forms.
You pick it up here in Garden Grove. California tax applies unless we have a California resale certificate. You do not need a California permit. Fill in the CDTFA-230 or the multistate certificate with your home state permit number and "no sales in California," and the tax comes off.

Anyone can walk in and buy at shelf price, and better pricing is earned by the size of the order, not by paperwork. The permit is what unlocks tax free purchasing.
The permit and the certificate are also two different things. The permit is your registration with the state and it carries a number. The certificate is the document you give us, quoting that number and declaring what you are buying for resale.
We verify every permit with the state. California asks a seller to take a resale certificate in good faith, so we check the permit, record the check, and then set your account up tax free. It usually takes a day.
A blanket certificate covers your future orders, so you send it once. We confirm the permit is current, and you let us know if it expires or your business name or address changes.
We are a supplier rather than a tax advisor. We can tell you exactly what we need on file to sell to you without tax. What your own business owes on what it buys is a question for your accountant, since it turns on details we do not have.
Product warranties belong to the manufacturer. Everything comes from the brand or an authorized distributor, in original manufacturer packaging, so the maker's own warranty applies and defects, performance and safety substantiation sit with them. Where something is faulty we point you to the right claim, help you assemble it and follow it through, and whether a replacement comes from us or direct from the maker depends on the item and their process.
