The week everyone rebought their rubber base
Our register doesn't lie: bases, builders and lamps outsold color this week. Salons are rebuilding their setups before the back-to-school rush, and the markdowns below happen to agree with them.

Here's a pattern from our own orders: UV and LED nail lamp purchases over-index on weekends, 23.9% of lamp orders land Saturday and Sunday against a 21.3% baseline for everything else. Techs shop for hardware on their day off. If that's you this weekend, the 30% rack is where the lamps live.

The $11 OPI shelf, still stacked with the sheer neutrals
Last week's post crowned the milky neutral. This week the whole family is still on markdown: every OPI gel nail polish in the 20% rack rings up at $11 instead of $13.75. Sheer nudes and soft whites are the shades doing August's quiet French tips, and they restock fastest.

The clearance rack is where back-bar staples hide at half price. If your dip powder nails menu is busy, the powder below is the one to case up on.

WaveGel powder $11.69Three sets almost nobody ordered this quarter. Their loss.
I check the slow movers every week, and these three deserve better. All are in stock today at Brookhurst, counted by hand, and each one gives a client a reason to book the add-on.

Cre8tion 069 The Queen trio $6.50

Wavegel Glow in the Dark 02 $3.75

What actually sold this week
Cre8tion Rubber Base Coat went from 3 orders to 14 in seven days, the sharpest jump in the store. A good rubber base gel is the layer that stops the chip complaints, so a base run usually means salons are tightening up their sets for a busy season. The magnet tools for cat eye gel polish more than doubled too, 9 orders against 4 the week before, which tracks with the cat-eye kits from Monday's new-arrivals post.
And the milky hero from last week's deals post is still the single most-ordered product in the store: OPI's Bubble Bunny logged 156 orders in 30 days. It isn't marked down. It doesn't need to be.
